Sage Hill Escape
24×28 two floors & a loft – 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. Features a wood burning fireplace, built in bunkbeds, & front balcony and rear walk out covered porch. Scheduled to finished February 1st, 2025.
Misty Skye’s Retreat
Found at the views of Silverly Subdivision Lot 22. A 1680 sqft cabin – 2 bedroom, 2 bath plus a loft. Full walk out basement, metal roof, and metal board and batten siding, more pictures coming when completed.
Moonlight Hideaway
2 Bedroom 2 Bath.
Metal roof tough and groove siding on exterior interior timber frame.
Finished out in tongue and groove wood planks. Interior pics are coming soon.
Cozy Cottage
This a great A-frame project that is near completion.
How We Work
Our Work Process
INITIAL MEETING
You can call Verne directly or message via email, Facebook, or Instagram. We will set up a time day and time to meet. You can bring us some floor plans and styles you like if we can’t come up with something you like we can use a designer we use who can draw up floor plans and design cabin to your specs (a direct fee to designer would be involved).
After we get floor plans we usually get rough numbers back to you within 2 business days. If the numbers look anywhere close to your budget we move to second step.
COMING UP WITH A PLAN
We like to meet customers at the site with plans in hand and very carefully walk thru the entire process and discuss all final decision with exactly how you want everything built. The options are endless that we have to offer, and we understand how hard it is to decide on exactly how you want it to look so we want to spend plenty of time carefully planning and create a strong relationship between customer and builders, and if you don’t have land yet we always have a few smaller tracks of land available close to attractions in Hocking county that we would consider selling if it fits your area you was considering to build.
CONTRACT & SCHEDULE
After we have discussed all plans and finalized everything we get a building contract together with a draw schedule showing exactly how each draw will take place and we always complete our work shown in each draw to customers satisfaction before that draw is due to be paid. And we understand after cabin starts going up there are some changes which we are very easy to work with on little changes.
LAYING THE GROUNDWORK
At this point, we will be moving equipment to site and installing driveway unless customer already has a driveway along with doing all excavation work as needed whether you have a full basement, crawl space etc. Then we start installing foundation and all underground plumbing also usually we like to install septic and well first if you don’t already have one.
PUTTING UP THE STRUCTURE
Next, all the wood framing will go up, roof, porches, windows, doors, siding, gutters, and all exterior work will be completed.
GETTING INSIDE
Then, we move to inside and rough in electric, plumbing, HVAC, and then insulation. We will finish interior walls such as drywall, or tongue & groove wood planks, etc. After the walls are completed and painted or stained we install flooring, trim, interior doors, and all toilets, showers, etc.
TOUCHING UP & FINAL DETAILS
Last step will be installing cabinets, countertops, light fixtures,and finish all electric work, and installing water pump, and hooking up all plumbing work, then after everyone is done with there work we go back and finish all little touch up work and clean cabin.
